{"id":2,"date":"2014-02-25T08:58:37","date_gmt":"2014-02-25T08:58:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gwentwfa.org.uk\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2020-03-23T09:48:48","modified_gmt":"2020-03-23T09:48:48","slug":"sample-page","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.gwentwfa.org.uk\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">PLEASE NOTE: ALL MEETINGS CANCELLED UNTIL AT LEAST JULY 2020<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Western Front Association was formed in 1980 with the aim of furthering interest in the period 1914-1918, to perpetuate the memory, courage and comradeship of those on all sides who served their countries during the Great War.\u00a0 It does not seek to glorify or justify war.\u00a0 It is not a re-enactment society nor is it commercially motivated.\u00a0 It is entirely non-political.\u00a0 The object of the Association is to educate the public in the history of the Great War with particular reference to the Western Front.<\/p>\n<p>The Gwent Branch draws members from Greater Gwent and surrounding areas.\u00a0 We normally meet on the fourth Wednesday of alternate months.
